It is not right that we eat their bodies in bulk and drink their milk when at least in here, in the Western world, we have so many alternatives. Why don’t we at least guarantee them a dignified and nice life? Why do cows in cowsheds and slaughterhouses experience so much suffering? Sure, the term “humane killing” is contradictory. Nevertheless, I think their suffering can at least be minimized. In the future, we will certainly disgust the way our ancestors treated animals. I believe that we will eat less meat and we will treat animals more humanly.
