The old fisherman and the sea – Minimalist Art Print

I took this minimalist photo of the sea coast near the town of Makarska in Croatia, where I was on vacation with my family. Because of this photo, which I planned at home, I bought a new neutral density filter. I used a strong ND filter, which significantly reduces the amount of light that falls on the camera’s sensor. Then you can take pictures with exposure as long as a few minutes.
That day, I took dozens of photos on the coast, which I expected to be interesting, and I was looking forward to going home when I sat down at the computer and threw myself into post-production. And I completely forgot about this photo. I was even more surprised when I discovered it among other relatively boring photographs.
I like a few things the most in photography. For example, as the evening sun shining through the clouds created a bright spot on the sea surface. In addition, the small fishing boat swinging on the waves that appeared at sea every evening when all the other boats and yachts were in port. But most of all, I like the atmosphere that the photo evokes. The printed photo on the wall in the interior creates a calm, balanced, dark, and also a bit magical impression.
Like my other photos, you can buy this one as a fine art photography print. In addition to normal paper printing, the photo can be printed on canvas, acrylic, aluminum, or wood. There is also a range of frames in different colors and designs.
