Black and white macro photo of a snail shell on a black background. The snail shell has long been an example of the perfection and symmetry of nature. It represents the beauty of the golden ratio – golden spirals. Therefore, it can bring order, harmony, and peace to your apartment. I have been planning this photo for quite some time. I was collecting shells and looking for the most beautiful one. I took photos by placing the shell on a black blanket, illuminating it from the side with a building reflector, and with the help of a Tamron 90mm macro lens, I took dozens of different photos.
In the end, I chose this shell and this photo, because thanks to the ideal combination of the set aperture (f / 13), the distance of the shell from the lens, and lighting, a photo was created that meets the requirements for fine art photography print.

Hi, my name is Martin Vorel and I'm a photographer from Prague, Czech Republic. >>> MARTINVOREL.COM <<< I actually started taking pictures at the age of 13. I enjoyed it, but it was too expensive for me at the time of 35mm films. I started to take more pictures at the one-year internship in Mongolia in 2006/2007. Since then I love taking pictures. ...minimalist photos of nature, landscape, and architecture
