The Liblice B transmitter was built between 1975 and 1976 south of Liblice, a part of the town of Český Brod, and east of the village of Přistoupim on the site of the former Blaw-Knox transmitter. The northern tower stands in the cadastral area of Liblice near Český Brod, the southern tower falls within the cadastral area of Přistoupim. The transmitter is the highest building in the Czech Republic with a height of 355 metres. Both towers are equipped with Swedish-made ALIMAK combustion engine powered climbing lifts. The lifts run up to a height of 350 m, making them the highest lifts in the Czech Republic.
